Sorry, no day trader would buy on the open (anything at the opening of the market). AVL never looked like it's going to be a good trade today anyway. There's a saying too: "amateurs open the market and professionals are closing it..."
I feel for the real believers, but we will need to believe quite a lot longer. (I am holding a small amount for a while now and my target is higher than it was today, so I'm still in.)
