It seems that as has always been the case some are prepared to completely overlook the FACTS and say whatever to achieve an outcome.
The following statement by Nvidia could not make it any clearer and this comes on top of the peer reviewed paper from Tata Consulting Services showing AKD1000 outperforming Nvidia Jetson and Nviso's published performance figures showing the same not to mention Quantum Ventura's published Homeland Security SBIR funded paper comparing AKD1000 at $50.00 favourably to a $US30,000 Nvidia GPU:
Deepu Talla Vice President and General Manager for Robotics and Edge Computing at Nvidia stated to EETimes:
“We realized AI is expanding into edge opportunities like IoT, where Nvidia doesn’t have silicon."
There is absolutely no scope for believing the type of ignorance this person expresses arises from confusion or lack of intellect.
