Not much point in having any shares if you're never going to sell them. So when is the best time for a director to sell theirs? I would say the best time is after retirement and after completing at least one successful project. That's when I believe would be the best time for a director to completely sell out, from the point of view of the existing share holders.

Now Maurice only sold 27% of his holdings, at an obviously good time (in terms of recent SP). He has a right to do so and he has his reasons. It would be nice to know those reasons, but that's none of our business, is it? We own shares in the company he is a director of. We don't own the rights to his personal life.

Anyway, when I saw the announcement title I hoped to see director buying. To see director selling was a bit of a slap in the face.

    End rant.
