    Sorry I wasn't more clear. If a company earns 10 cps, pays 6c as dividend and reinvested 4c you will agree the share price ought to be less than if it earned 16c, paid 6c dividend and reinvested 10c. The value of the reinvestment should show up somewhere in the accounts and I would expect it to be reflected in the net assets. If the share price correlated to equity it would rise as the reinvestment rises. With FSA the share price has remained flat or declined, disregarding profits but correlated to dividends. So a shareholder that doesn't want to hold for a long term will have to give up some of the value he is entitled to.
