While the full number of weekly departures won't occur until April 2024 or perhaps a little before, it isn't clear if the five weekly intermodal trains 'Melbourne-Sydney-Adelaide-Perth' will see them all operating on that route, or whether say it's three from Melbourne to Perth and two from Sydney, and the same in the eastbound direction.
Melbourne generates more freight for Perth than Sydney does.
