Hey guys. Are people ignoring THE basic, and obvious, reason WHY SPs drop after a CR?? In UNT's case TWO CRs within a month!! Like a 30% dilution from the time the Placement was issued!! The SP is STILL THE SAME!! We are lucky that it's not at one cent!!! It has absorbed a full 30% dilution with NO LOSS!! Remarkable. Says "something"!!
That effect will continue circulating through the market probably for another month. Over 300 million new shares have been thrown into the market within a month, with no supporting news. The current SP is a win/win.
IMO, it proves that the issue price was recognized to be WAY lower than what they could have asked. Justifiable??
But, we must live with that. Hopefully, we won't ever see anything like that again. Management SHOULD have gained a lesson and, importantly, CONFIDENCE, in their shareholders', and probably, the market's, support.
Great buying for newbies and also for existing holders while at these levels. But, equity wise for those that did not take up the offer, it's 30% down, BUT, they haven't had their capital slaughtered by that 30%.
Relax, count your blessings and look forward to the blessings that appear to be faling your way in the foreseeable future and ongoing.
