Why would you set aside and raise money for Lithium when you haven't even gotten the DD? Of course, if they get DD the company could shift its focus and funding, but they are obviously smart enough not put all their eggs in one basket, yet.
And yes, there is a possibility of a future CR, but for current holders i don't think that will be a problem as DD will shoot the price up, you would hope, considering how cheap it is compared to peers. So the CR price would be significantly higher, I would imagine.
