FOREIGN & COLONIAL INVESTMENT TRUST PLC
TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
The Board of Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust PLC ("the Company")
announces that on 1 July 2015 the Company purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of
25p each at a price of 437.90p per share to be held in treasury.
The Company's issued ordinary share capital is 561,819,016 of which 1,123,215
shares are held in treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is now
560,695,801.
The above figure (560,695,801) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under
the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
