I would expect certain posters to call this out as another bad decision, but if they deliver on the clinichain result AND the "modest discount" in the raise, it will finally be 1 step backward but 2 steps forward, imo, and mark a turning point in the company fundamentally.


Have to say, while I agree with your sentiment about blaming shareholders being a bad look, I do get it. I've seen a number of companies both elevated AND destroyed by HC posters before, and i abhor it.

The appropriate forum for expressing grievances with the board responsibly is definitely not in a chat group. People can say whatever they want in a public domain without accountability. They can pretend they are an expert and make up unverified factoids for months on end and ultimately destroy collective shareholder wealth, all driven by their mood swings or narcissism. Misinformation does not spread in a controlled environment.
