Tata Power paid $1.50 a share, around $42 million in 2008. Share price in 2017? Not even 2c. I don't think they'll be overly thrilled with their investment. In fact, I would assume they would be kicking themselves for having bought the GDY geothermal story in the first place. And while the new RNE direction may have its merits, I doubt it is worth the while of Tata Power.
