A company that has missed primary endpoints on multiple trials although the actual trial results have hit it out of the park. PR nightmare? Does it work or not? Sounds like the perfect target for a predatory larger shark.
I’ve held another company who were also hitting it out of the park and the suppressed share price never seemed to make sense vs results. That was until a takeover offer appeared out of nowhere backed by a large mofo that was loosely connected (blackrock).
That’s my fear with MSB.
Not suggesting Novartis have ambitions of taking us over but I wouldn’t be surprised if a company of that size has the means of suppressing a share price.
SI has lot more shares than any of us so I’m hoping the science is more of a driver for him at this stage than an extra $1 or 2 on a buyout price (although I hope in the end he is handsomely rewarded for his life’s work).
Still, I can’t help my gut feeling that’s where we’re headed
