With the SP hovering around $0.07, now might be the time for Somers to make an opportunistic takeover bid. Participating in the next raise (if there is one) will only drive up the total acquisition cost, so if it is their intention to launch a bid I believe it's likely to be sooner rather than later. My hope is that a bid isn't made, or at least not accepted by shareholders, as I believe there will be greater returns to be realised if the company can continue to responsibly grow its loan book and improve profitability. We can only speculate on what Somers intentions are, but they certainly aren't invested for the dividends - those are likely years away.
