What is more interesting to me is the 45M and the 343,765 done on 12 and 19 April.
This is just conjecture here, but what it seems to me is 37M shares had gone to UBS Nominees and 8M to JP Morgan Prime on the 12th and a further 343,765 had gone to UBS on the 19th.
Regal Partners bought the shares at 8c and sold 13M in the market at various prices, and also sold 45M plus 343,765 to Regal Management Funds at 16.5c. That would yield a cool $4m for Partners.
Would any one know if Regal Management Fund also operates a non-discretionary sub-fund for their client account? For some family offices who wish to remain anonymous in the register? The 2 blocks at UBS and JPM Prime seems to suggest a designated holding.
If that is the case, Regal in total might only be holding about 40M shares in their discretion and have already zero carry in this exercise.
