All coal stocks are selling at very low prices compared to recent earnings. One capitalised on the market at not much more than one years earnings, while market darlings lithium stocks ride high. so coal miners are extreme value stocks. Coal prices are booming while lithium prices are way down.
A lot depends on future prices for lithium and coal. The market has got it very wrong on coal and full electric cars are increasingly being recognised as disasters on wheels and insurers running away from covering them, and having depreciation experiences akin to a jump off the Gap. The smallest accident is commonly a write-off because of danger from any damage to the leviathan battery.
