That goes without saying doesn't it? Selling to pay part-there-of from a mortgage wasn't part of the context. I'd never put up a case about anyone wanting to sell to decrease debt. I personally bought at the covid lows and sold the lot to be totally rid of my mortgage. Debt free.
My comment was in relation to parking your money for a 'perceived' safe 5% interest rate when the DDR price was trading well below $8 and paying a 6% dividend (not including 100% franking). What part of that went over your head?
