If you actually read it properly it basically locks im in to not only stay for years but to also repeatedly have to buy shares every year at pretty massive premium to the stock price.
It not only incentivizes to preform and continue the company growth (especially share price) but also punishes him pretty badly if he did something wrong or tried to walk away.
If people actually read that, its a pretty big vote of confidence on where its headed, because it could cost him a mint if he stuffs it up. And it basically leaves him needing the share price to grow buy those amounts each year. 50% 75% then 100% each year over the next few years.
At a minimum thats 13c by 2020 for him to be in front really.
