That is why, spot price doesn't reflect a short fall or inflation, as far as the spot price is concerned the thesis is flawed. If you zoom out and look at the graph is does but sentiment is dictated by short term movements. If we were seeing a steady increase in spot rather than it hitting the ceiling at 53/lb all U stocks would be 3x higher than current levels. Until spot moves up and stays up there is no point in holding uranium stocks. Gold is where the action is at present.. However Gold Spot is erratic too, all hinged on the babblings of the fed.
