Im thinking some sort of tax management strategy - transfer between two related parties ?
One could argue if questioned by the Tax man that one had expected the raising to be at a discount to prevailing share price so 42c a reasonable level at which to transact. And I suppose a big holder that had become negative on gold sector might have been happy to sell to someone with more optimistic outlook and crystallise the tax loss ?
