What has been said re "Best and Final" is"
"The Consortium has confirmed that the increased consideration is its best and final proposal as to price under the Scheme, subject to no competing proposal emerging."
I have underlined the words "as to price" as I have not seen these words in a takeover proposal before; so my questions are
- has anyone else seen this specificity before, and
- what might Brookfield be able to offer other than price to get bid over the line, or are other options being kept open?
