Well that was an underwhelming interview - Don seemed to be stumbling and grasping at straws there. Lucky he had Noel asking leading questions.
What is he targeting there a Golden Grove style VHMS, porphyry Cu or skarn?
We waved the presence of Mo around like it was some holy grail pathfinder - when in reality it is associated with some orogenic Au and porphyry deposits - not typically VMS deposits and the most levels intersected in the hole can be explained by expected lithological values for felsic rocks.
Same with the Cu, there is 1m @ 0.13% Cu, the remainder of the values are typical of basaltic rocks which are naturally more Cu-rich than felsic and intermediate lithologies.
And what is with the announcement saying they may have an iron-rich chalcopyrite? Chalco has a defined composition of CuFeS2, there is no variable iron. It makes no sense.
Don't really have much confidence that Don has a deep understanding of what he is talking about.
