The European Investment Trust plc (the "Company")
Appointment of Director
The European Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mr Michael MacPhee as an independent non-executive Director of the Company
with effect from 1 January 2016.
Mr MacPhee, having been called to the English Bar in 1987, joined Baillie
Gifford & Co in 1989 and became a partner in 1998. He headed the firm's
European Department from 2003 to 2008 and thereafter co-managed a global
investment strategy. From 1998 until his retirement from the firm in 2014, he
was the manager of Mid Wynd International Investment Trust PLC.
There are no details or disclosures required under section 9.6.13R (1-6) of
the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rules.
