John Bevan appointed Non-Executive Director
Nuplex Industries today announced that as part of Nuplex's Board succession
program, John Bevan has been appointed as an independent, Non-Executive
Director, with effect from 1 September 2015.
Mr Bevan, who is based in Sydney, Australia, is currently a Non-Executive
Director of BlueScope Steel Limited and Ansell Limited.
Between 2008 and 2014, Mr Bevan was Chief Executive Officer and Managing
Director of Alumina Limited. Prior to joining Alumina, Mr Bevan spent spent
29 years with The BOC Group plc, a FTSE 100 company with $10 billion in
sales. During this time he held a variety of senior management roles
including as a director on The BOC Group plc Board, Chief Executive Process
Gas Solutions with responsibility for the bulk and tonnage business for the
entire BOC group, Chief Executive Asia and country lead roles in the United
Kingdom, Thailand and Korea.
Nuplex Industries Chairman, Mr Peter Springford said, "The Board is extremely

his strong international industrial markets experience and a global
perspective. His significant experience in executing organic growth
strategies in emerging markets including China, India, Thailand and Latin
America will enable him to make a significant contribution to Nuplex's

Mr Bevan will stand for election by shareholders at Nuplex's Annual
Shareholders Meeting in November at which time Mr Robert Aitken will retire
from the Board.
