ESS has concentrated on the Northern section of the dome complex which is fair enough given that they have a proven Lithium resource, but there are pegmatites throughout the whole area. Back in 1970 the ground was held in a JV between Newmont Australia & Norseman Gold mines ( Not Central Norseman ) in search of Nickel. The Southern & Western section was where i worked & there were outcropping Pegs everywhere. The area at that time had two distinct base lines one going North from our camp base ( This is where i discovered the Rutile & the very impressive anomaly ) The Southern baseline from the camp was where the Pink pegmatite was exposed & discovered. At present i believe no work has been carried out in this area. It is possible that ESS does not hold the Pioneer West ground. 50 years is a long time ago & we lived in tents ( no Air con ) How times have changed.
