Prelim core sample results can come very quick from on-site within days but the samples need to be sent to a specialised lab to have then tested properly and the results can take up to 6 weeks, but usually 2-4. A curve ball announcement could come anytime to say they have intersected with a big nickel reserve with high percentages or other minerals during the drilling process and would have to be announced immediately. Or, it could reveal that they have missed everything. The confirmation will still need to come from the final lab tests but there are methods for prelim, onsite tests to be conducted at nominated depths while drilling.

and thanks for the quick run down mate, looks like its just a waiting game now.. but with the team behind MPJ, lets hope they dont keep us waiting for too long !
