    More good work, dtab, thanks. I'd probably factor in a contingency of say 20% on top of the CAD1m/km estimate that Chris Evans gave in the update the other day (P90 rather than P50). Great that my guess of 110 km is way over the 80 km that Winsome has come up with.

    Also a possible issue with sections C and D - the existing Renard Mine road - and whether it and the new section up to Adina can be a single lane slow 50 km speed road or whether they would need to be upgraded to the two lane 70km speed road which is what the Quebec government paid for on Sections A and B. I reckon that with the processing of the diamond bearing material at Renard there would not have been that much traffic leaving Renard. In contrast, CE said there could be between 200kt to 300kt of spodumene concentrate leaving the Renard processing centre each year. Add to that, Patriot's Corvette and maybe a couple more of the Trieste Formation operators may put their hand up to use Route 167 sections down past Renard. Of course they should have to put in for their share of the road's use but that might mean Sections C and D and then the section north of Renard will have to have upgraded specs (in light of the additional traffic, including for any haulage for toll treatment at Renard).

    Any interest from players other than Winsome in expediting the extension of Route 167 I think will be an excellent laxative for any bureaucratic indecision on the issue. And Winsome will be the main winner if the Quebec government fast tracks the Route 167 extension but the other operators will also benefit. A win win all around I think.
