The company discovered semi massive (50%-75% Sulphides) to massive sulphide (75%+ Sulphides) with mainly iron (pyrrhotite) and small amounts of nickel and copper in their first 3 drill holes in 2 conductors.

After they completed their DHEM (Down Hole EM) survey down one of those holes they found
a new "large sheet of sulphide mineralisation runs parallel to current drill holes and has not been completely tested by current drilling"...further targeting at Irrida will be planned after assays and prioritised along with the company's other targets"

The targets at Belele, DIngo Pass and Innouendy are much higher quality than Irrida ever was. A lot more EM surveying, Gravity surveying and now most recently back up with soil sampling (and PGE hits in the drilling at Innouendy) that are showing compelling reasons for priority drilling asap, which is what they are doing from next week.

You always drill your best targets first.

Once they drill at Belele, Dingo Pass and Innouendy, they will go back to Irrida to hit that new large sheet of sulphides.

In quite a few cases, the high-grade nickel copper sheet, sits off the edge/parallel to an iron (pyrrhotite) dominated nickel copper conductor. Irrida definitely still has strong potential with the correct mafic and ultramafic rocks and nickel copper sulphides discovered for the first time in Australia's history on the Narryer Terraine (in this area of the Yilgarn Craton) by Desert Metals.

If Chalice and Sirius gave up after their first 3 drill holes each (which were complete barren dusters), they wouldn't be at $A3Billion and $US1.8Billion market caps.

This comment was made by Desert Metals even before the soil samples lit up light Christmas Trees over the 6-8 ~12,000Siemens conductors at Dingo Pass.

"They are modeled at up to 12,000S and together are unique across the Company's entire license package"

These together with copper/zinc/lead/gold/silver target at the VMS deposit at Belele and the PGEs at Innouendy.

Drilling starts at Belele at that 500metre long 220metre thick sulphide plate next week, followed by Dingo Pass and Innouendy late January/early February.

Desert Metals has already been preparing the tracks and drill pads for Dingo Pass and DOME prospects. So as soon as the rigs are fnished at their current jobs they will start. See below.

"Desert Metals is currently preparing tracks and drill pads into the Dingo Pass and Dome prospects which will use a combination of RC and diamond drilling."

This is an excellent time to be exploring for these critical minerals for the Electric Vehicle and Grid Storage revolution which has just begun.

When Sirius Resources discovered Nova-Bollinger the Nickel Price was only $US12,000/tonne ($A14,000/tonne)
