It took almost forever just to get to the exploitation license announcement, the DRC government seems incapable of fast decisions. The suspension will be lifted when there is clarity on ownership and that then sorts out the licensing.

Since there is likely to be arbitration, in the vacuum of a DRC government that cant seem to make decisions, then radio silence on positions etc, other than what has already been stated, will be the order of the day.

As each day passes, the DRC's ability to maximise its take from the lithium boom diminishes as the ability to hit the sweet spot in the market timing wise declines. AVZ is trying to get on with it but some work will be now directed to shore up arguments (Roche Dure additional drilling etc) rather than get to production more quickly.

This is unfortunate, a clear directive and support by the DRC Government for the AVZ team that have worked so hard to progress the asset int he right way would be the best thing for the DRC itself right now.
