People need to re-read the announcment it says " financing can not be completed at this time" I repeat "AT THIS TIME". Nowhere does it say funding has been taken of the table and won't be reconsidered. But no one seems keen to mention that because it would clearly fly in the face of many posters agenda's. Consider this, take a look at what's happening around the world, banks are being forced to take measures to defer loan payments for customers big and small. Tenancy contracts both residential and commercial are being modified daily, these are unprecedented times, and have to be met with unprecedented measures, limiting all but essential spending would be the mo for most astute management's. Financing a project and a team that do not have the capacity to provide any form of return on that investment for at least 2-3 years in this current market, would be akin to professional self sabotage.

As for management saying that the funding is binding well that's beyond reproach and is a further stain on there questionable record. All that being said, we as minions aren't privy to seeing the contracts, perhaps there were get out clauses ie oil price etc.
