CETO's 1 to 5 have all worked toward proving the nearshore pump version can work.
There should be nothing preventing them from up scaling the current version to a bigger version, almost immediately.
Prior to the deployment of CETO 5, smaller scale versions were used to prove the technology. That is, the first time a CETO 5 buoy was put into the water was for deployment.
With what they have learned so far, they should be able to build even bigger versions of this one without having to change much.
What is required now, if for the U.S. Navy to come forward for an order for a remote base. Or for EDF to order an array to complete the unfinished business at Reunion Island.
That is the type of action investors are waiting for.
