The lights that are used are to control day length or help control vegetative/flowering cycles and the plants are grown in a hot house, which is still great, but ultimately not nearly as desirable as indoor potential unless you are totally able to close walls and ceiling to light, plus control environment as per an indoor situation.

So technically turn your hot house, green house or glass house into an indoor situation which can/has be done as the benefits is that the sun ultimately has the most energy when compared to artificial lighting being used/developed.

Hence why you may of heard of retractable ceilings harnessing the sun and artificial lights, combined with light meters initiating artificial lighting, where required, due to light levels dropping etc.

People don't be negative about my posts there just my opinion plus who knows where, what the company's plans are moving forward in respects to it's cultivation techniques.
