HFC is just another form of EV. The only difference is the electricity comes from the Hydrogen Fuel Cell not the batteries. Everything else can be the same ie same engine, steering, suspension etc. I understand this is why this company sells BEV as well HFC. The first sales is actual 2 EV buses.

The area where HFC makes sense is Trucks or large vehicles. A big load going up a large hill will quickly fry batteries. A HFC Prime Mover designed to carry 50 tonnes is lighter by about 1.3 tonnes lighter than BEV for the similar truck. That is a huge difference when you come to Pay load. This means the HFC Truck would be able to earn more revenue as it can carry 1.3 tonnes more than the BEV Truck.
