If you go back to their previous announcements they have been releasing their results after trading closes. So, today is not a special case.
I am not too sure if the surprises are being priced in, but one of the reasons that give me comfort is that their debt-to-equity ratio is very very low (i.e. 1% according to commsec data). The debt-to-equity ratio is very important in my opinion in the current high-interest rate environment.
