Announcements always underline multiple reasons you might want finance. They don't want to telegraph acquisitions in case that brings other bidders out of the woodwork.
But I'm with you, I'm a great fan of their organic strategy. They have the exploration tenements to make many discoveries. And there are lots of pitfalls in developing them yourself. I'd prefer them to spend twice as much on drilling, make twice as many discoveries and bring in Goldfields as 50% owner of each to do the development. They have a world class team of geologists. Might as well focus on your core strengths.
