I just had a quick look at the
Consolidated Statement of Financial Position as at 31 December 2014
I think the write down is just based on the lower SP thus lower Owners equity/ equity.
equity equals assets less liabilities....
Equity is lower due to lower SP and Assets are an exact amount like liabilities...
I think note three is almost a balancing figure... Like goodwill...
It's been ages since I did Accounting so dyor.
