Exactly! How else does a company director get to put self interest above the interest of it's members? As I understand the intent of Directors Duties, that is contrary to the implied, if not specified, requirements of the Corporations Act and relevant Case Law........... it would make a good debate about Company Law at Masters Level.
We don't know, but maybe the big guy did try to do off market block sales instead of saturating the market and bleeding down the share price so badly that it now stinks up the smell of the whole company.
