Not for me to comment on oil well tech issues, but i think there is a misconception here @Rabiator
The horizontal production is not simply a frac - it is a horizontally drilled well - I have heard 1000m mentioned. Then it is fracked sideways to expose a large region for drainage.
Happy for oilmen to correct or enlarge. Its good for holders to have the basics IMO.
