As I have already mentioned, there are obvious advantages to a merger. The tenements complement each other. Together they cover almost 5000km2. This would give you a dominant position in the region and a bundle of critical metals that could also attract government attention. Especially in the context of protecting jobs in Mt Isa or moving control of Mt Isa from Swiss hands to domestic control. Which could make the "volatility" of potential future decisions more manageable.

A combined entity could drive the idea from explorer to developer and ultimately producer. But it would also have the critical mass that could make it interesting for a third party to take over. Or the consolidation could be taken a step further and the company could become even bigger (by buying additional companies and deposits).

CNB's resources combined with Kalman's high grade resources (around 10MT with 1.98% CU equivalent) would be a 30% grade improvement at Mt Hope. It is very difficult for us outsiders to determine what the synergies of such a merger could be.

The management of the two entities and possibly external consultants can better assess this. In the end, 1+1 should add up to more than 2. In the interests of all shareholders.

However, what is currently happening seems to me to indicate that someone from outside is pursuing their own interests and goals and possibly putting indirect pressure on the management (via the SP). Perhaps pure conspiracy theories on my part.I think we'll know more in the next few weeks or months. DYOR
