Very simplistically:

The cash you receive (in) from shipping that product has to be more than your expenses (out) per month (LTR’s employees/contractors wages, energy, fuel etc) - otherwise you are cashflow negative (or insolvent in the absence of any other finance or financial instruments)..

That is why you need finance to cover est 1year of production ramp up.

The 1st year is always the most difficult and rarely runs to plan (1year is being optimistic btw).
