In general, be very careful comparing Crown with SMA - feeling sorry for the families involved in the Crown scandal - the Crown issue has to do with the fact that Packer's company has violated the law, targeting high roller punters (VIPs) in China, getting them to come to Australia and spend their millions here, that is an illegal activity in China;

Crown (Australia) is not the only casino operator breaching the laws in China - in June last year China arrested 14 South Koreans for allegedly breaching the same rules.

SMA is part of sports lotteries, nothing to do with casino gamblers and VIP high rollers - different regulations apply for welfare and Sports lotteries and as SMA is working with the Chinese authorities (now part of the Social Responsibility of Lottery Think Tank), they are very uniquely placed for further expansion.

Also, remember SMA won the Outstanding Technology Award from China’s Ministry of Commerce and China World Trade Organisation... so obviously, SMA is working with the Chinese Authorities and is well positioned for further growth, revenue and profit - watch this space.
