You are correct, the article referenced the price in USD incorrectly. My apologies.
Still, as the price of copper was AUD$14,659 it would be similarly priced at AUD$20,000-$25,000 per tonne in the current environment.
AUD$15k per tonne at the moment, all time highs. Shows how much of a high cost quartile CYM would be running at.
