I don't like buying at the top of the oil cycle... no bargains to be had IMO. Just have to trust the board that any acquisition is value accretive. They have stated that anything must meet a strict criteria...GOM is fine by me.
But as we have discussed numerous times we also have plenty of opportunity all around us. They may be smaller fields but easy uncontested low cost pickings @ 100% ownership I would have thought.
