the boutique nature of the company's operations pretty much guarantees it can't be on everyone's radar, particularly instos, which is where the serious money is.

of course there is a fairly simple remedy for this that could change investor perceptions pretty much overnight.

a maiden dividend of 2 cents/share would act as a wake-up call for many, and likely lead to a sharp rerate higher in the SP.

in round terms this would cost KAU about A$3 million so it wouldn't break the bank.

indeed, given the expanded production from A1 mine this fiscal year, it could now be netting around that figure each quarter, which means by the end of this calendar year it would have enough in the kitty to give it the flexibility to pay such a dividend.

this can't be ruled in, or out.
