Chris Ellison’s Mineral Resources and Lithium Australia are set to partner on a new technology venture that aims to increase extraction rates from lithium deposits.
according to an article in The West Australian this morning...Mineral Resources and Lithium Australia sign new deal to improve lithium extraction
Gerard CockburnThe West AustralianMon, 7 August 2023 10:13AM" The companies revealed on Monday that the joint pilot study will use Lithium Australias' LieNa technology to try to lift extraction yields
on MinRes' West Aust. deposits by up to 50%. The technology recovers lithium from fine and low grade spodumene thats usually
dumped as waste. "
How marvelous is that , but as @sqe has pointed out in other threads LieNa is a dud.
You could say then why is MIN here ?
To my mind ,.....$5mil is not even one percent of what they could gain on this deal if they could make something of it so probably worth a look.
IMO ' A day in the Sun ' for LIT ... then back to reality . (Lithium in name only)
PS. I got to say MIN's last venture into technology did not end up to well. The Hazer process was found to not suit their aims , so was
dropped. a $100K venture with ASX:HZR that they wrote off .
