Yes indeed it is click-bait.
REEs are a bit like lithium, there is hard-rock Li and brine Li. So too there is hard rock REEs and regolith hosted REEs.
A lot of folks stumble into REEs projects thinking the regolith hosted means ionic adsorption clay hosted. It often isn't.
Ionic adsorption means the REEs are loosely attached to the surface of the clay - so separate out the clay and release the REEs by ion exchange (meaning you give the clay something else to hang on to while it releases the REE)
If the pH is right and the REEs are not tightly bound inexpensive reagents like common salt can release the REE molecules. Otherwise the cost of reactants soon makes the project uneconomic.
I think here at Dooley Downs, M2R is talking about possible hard rock REEs associated with the potential intrusion they found - this makes an analogy with HAS's discovery. And that looks good to me.
Take care and DYOR - OK?Thanks for that - I'll check out KFM.@chartrader - yep, and isn't that exactly why we are here - low M.Cap and enough cash = blue sky.
GL all. I must off now to check out my stragglers.
