The reply is standard and expected, they are between a rock and hard place as explained above as to disclosure vs disclosure that is speculation, which is probably the distinction stoegs is missing
Disclose once deal done, not that "things are progressing and here's a chapter and verse of our day to day tasks", even though those tasks could end up very well being material once complete
