This briefing this afternoon is about the Mining industry in Myanmar in general. John Lamb (MYL MD/Chair) and the very well credentialed Deputy Minister of Mines (PhD in Geology and knows the Bawdwin project very well) are presenting.
In general, it's a very positive signal that these two gentlemen are presenting together. I will be interested in the dynamic and watching closely.
It will also give great insight into where the Ministerial people think things are at and where they are going in Myanmar. All of which is important to MYL. We may get a few clues. I will be asking if they can shed any light on MIC process. However, it's not a briefing about Bawdwin as such. Mind you, the topics could well be of interest with other potential projects in the future as well. Myanmar does hold a lot of allure.
