I agree, I was more bullish ALB, LAC SQM based on valuations, but this depressed pricing environment has lasted longer than I expected. Therefore the aforementioned companies are in significantly more financial distress.
ALB just did a huge raise and so did LAC.
There is a reason none of us are running the company and Dale is. Wise head, keeping was and is still the smart play.
$2bil @ 5% is $100mil in interest per annum.
There are worse ways to get paid for not taking any risks.
