I'm with you. The longer this mess lurches on the more conspiracy theories start swirling around. We seem to have differing opinions emanating from the bureaucrats. Contradictions and differing determinations from government departments is a less than ideal situation. The problem here has always been (in my humble opinion) that we have a minnow in CAY trying to digest a whale size resource. While CAY is hoping Camrail have the resources and the will to upgrade their rail system the Chinese could just forge ahead and do it and recoup with concessional pricing, etc. at a later date.
For too long now I have been a member of the CAY chorus next week, next month, next quarter, etc. At the risk of repeating myself why has CAY gone to the expense and trouble of appointing a new CEO if all the cards were going to simply fall into place early 2022? I find the current situation somewhat troubling and fervently hope I am worrying unduly. However, if we are having these same conversations in six months' time I will not be unduly surprised. With CAY patience is required and I am ready to expect the unexpected.
