AVZ got delisted and lost, due to inexperienced managers dealing with China and corruption and bad negotiation skills. Tier 1 managers stay away from Africa. The ones that go , is more for getting weekly pays. Most of these ventures end up a disaster for shareholders. Managers get free shares and fat salaries, so no skin of their noses.
