Well for the record I am not that surprised but I am not impressed with that outcome as a SIT shareholder.
As I said 6 months ago the worst outcome for SIT shareholders would be to get a minority interest in a property development that will take 5 years to mature. I didn't even envisage they would do this with a related party as all the talk was about maximising the value of the asset for SIT shareholders and I did feel the major shareholders were wanting a clean transaction.
This is a rounding error holding for me so maybe I am better of cutting my losses because this now feels like a slow painful death rather than a quick resolution to unlock the value in the property asset that I thought it would be.
